This is not meant to be a beating, but rather a tool to give you some help in reading and understanding God’s word. If you miss a day, and can “catch up: by doubling up, then sweet. If you can’t read on certain days, adjust the schedule to fit your life. I think you will find the schedule pretty easy to maintain if you keep just a bit of discipline.

Chapter 4 points to adoption by God in Christ by way of comparison of Sarah & Hagar. Chapter 5 urges Christians to walk by the Spirit and produce the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Chapter 6 calls believers to unity in living Christian lives.
Tuesday: Ephesians 1 – 3
Chapter 1 praises God for His salvation in Christ. Ephesians 2 recounts the gracious work of God in Christ and celebrates the unity of Christians. Ephesians 3 confirms Paul’s calling and submission to God.
Wednesday: Ephesians 4 – 6
Ephesians 4 calls to unity in the Gospel, trusting in Christ, and walking worthily. Ephesians 5 calls to Godly living before concluding with an explanation of marriage. Chapter 6 continues describing Godly familial relationships before exhorting believers to stand firm in God’s armor.
Thursday: Philippians 1 – 4
Philippians 1 praises God for His work both in Philippi and elsewhere and points to living for Christ. Chapter 2 encourages the imitation of Jesus and explains His humbling work before commending those Paul will send to the church. Philippians 3 warns against worldly living and urges the readers to press on. Chapter 4 encourages the church and thanks them for their work.
Friday: Colossians 1 – 4
Colossians 1 commends Paul before explaining Jesus and His great work. Chapter 2 points to Christ and away from worldly thinking & philosophy. Colossians 3 encourages the readers to focus on Christ in all aspects of life. Chapter 4 exhorts to Godly living in day-to-day life.
Saturday: 1 Thessalonians 1 – 5
Chapter 1 praises God for His work among those at Thessalonica. Chapter 2 reminds of Paul’s ministry and thanks God for the reception of the church. Chapter 3 praises the faithfulness of the church. Chapter 4 points to Christ and His work and explains the fate of those who have died in Christ. Chapter 5 explains the return of Christ and encourages Godly living until He returns.
Sunday: 2 Thessalonians 1 – 3
Chapter 1 praises God for the churches faithfulness and prays for them. Chapter 2 explains the 2nd coming of Christ and reminds of Paul’s teaching. Chapter 3 encourages the church to continue to pray and live Godly lives.
