Reading through the Bible Week 31

This is not meant to be a beating, but rather a tool to give you some help in reading and understanding God’s word.  If you miss a day, and can “catch up: by doubling up, then sweet.  If you can’t read on certain days, adjust the schedule to fit your life.  I think you will find the schedule pretty easy to maintain if you keep just a bit of discipline.

With that said…………….

This week’s reading:
Monday
: Job 33 – 35
Tuesday: Job 36 – 38
Wednesday: Job 39 – 42

Summary:
Monday: Job 12 – 14
These chapters resume Job’s defense as attacks his “friends”, points to God’s power, and declares his righteousness.
Tuesday: Job 15 – 17
Job 15 brings another charge from Eliphaz.  Chapters 16 & 17 again see Job on the offensive against his present state.
Wednesday: Job 18 – 20
Chapter 18 brings Bildad pointing to the judgment against the wicked.  Chapter 19 again sees Job as not seeing any wickedness in himself, and he is wrongly accursed.  Chapter 20 attempts to vindicate God as Zophar points to the death of the wicked.
Thursday: Job 21 – 23
Chapter 21 sees Job again point to the wicked flourishing while he suffers.  Chapter 22 again sees Eliphaz bring accusation against Job.  Job 23 again sees the justification of Job for his cause.
Friday: Job 24 – 26
Chapter 24 accuses God of unfairness.  Job 25 is mercifully short as Bildad tries to defend God.  Chapter 26 is the response of Job and accusation against God.

These chapters continue Job’s defense of self and accusation that he has been unfairly treated.
Sunday:  Job 30 – 32
