This is not meant to be a beating, but rather a tool to give you some help in reading and understanding God’s word. If you miss a day, and can “catch up: by doubling up, then sweet. If you can’t read on certain days, adjust the schedule to fit your life. I think you will find the schedule pretty easy to maintain if you keep just a bit of discipline.

Summary:
Monday: Isaiah 25 – 27
Isaiah 25 is a praise to God for His favor and work for His people. Chapter 26 is a song of trust in God as the protector of His people. Chapter 27 is a pointing to the deliverance of God for His people in the day of judgment.
Tuesday: Isaiah 28 – 31
Isaiah 28 warns against the sin of Ephraim and Judah. Chapter 29 continues the warnings by calling to Jerusalem. Chapters 30 & 31 warn against false trust in Egypt instead of God.
Wednesday: Isaiah 32 – 34
Isaiah 32 points to a future righteous king. Chapters 33 & 34 warn of the coming judgment of God against sin and the nations.
Thursday: Isaiah 35 – 38
Chapter 35 pictures the future joy of God’s people. Isaiah 36 records the invasion of Judah by Sennacherib. Chapter 37 records the faith of Hezekiah and the deliverance of Judah by God. (Note: The Assyrians devastated nations they invaded. God saved Judah from Assyria while allowing Israel (northern kingdom) to be destroyed. By postponing judgment against Judah until the Babylonians ruled, God preserved the records of the priestly & Davidic lines until the Messiah could be born.) Isaiah 38 records the healing of Hezekiah and his praise of God.
Friday: Isaiah 39 – 41
Isaiah 39 records the pride of Hezekiah in displaying his treasures. Chapter 40 exalts in the majesty of God. Chapter 41 points God’s people to a trust in Him.
Saturday: Isaiah 42 – 45
Isaiah 42 reminds of God’s faithfulness in spite of the people’s sin. Chapter 43 reminds of God’s redemption for His people. Isaiah 44 points to the blessings of God for His people. Isaiah 45 predicts the future work of Cyrus.
Sunday: Isaiah 46 – 48
Isaiah 46 & 47 condemn Babylon for her idolatry. Chapter 48 exposes the stubbornness of Israel, but reminds of a future salvation.
