This is not meant to be a beating, but rather a tool to give you some help in reading and understanding God’s word. If you miss a day, and can “catch up: by doubling up, then sweet. If you can’t read on certain days, adjust the schedule to fit your life. I think you will find the schedule pretty easy to maintain if you keep just a bit of discipline.

Summary:
Monday: Psalm 107 – 110
Psalm 107 is a testimony to the Lord’s work and faithfulness. Psalm 108 is a song of thanksgiving to God for His works. Psalm 109 is a call for God’s judgment to fall upon the wicked. Psalm 110 is a declaration of God’s dominion. (Note: This is the psalm quoted by Jesus to stymie the religious leaders. It points to David recognizing the dominion of a king greater than he ordained by God.)
Tuesday: Psalm 111 – 113
Psalm 111 is a praise for the goodness and work of God. Psalm 112 is a declaration of faith in God and what that faith produces. Psalm 113 is a call to praise of God in all creation for His attributes.
Wednesday: Psalm 114 – 117
Psalm 114 is a reminder of the work of God in the Exodus. Psalm 115 is a rebuke of idolatry in favor of right praise of God. Psalm 116 is a thanksgiving for God deliverance. Psalm 117 is a praise of God.
Thursday: Psalm 118
This psalm is a thanksgiving for God’s salvation and goodness.
Friday: Psalm 119:1 – 96
The 1st half of this psalm point to the Law of God as the basis for life and calls for a hope in salvation.
Saturday: Psalm 119:97 – 176
This portion of the psalm continues to praise the Law of God and call for God’s justice.
Sunday: Psalm 120 – 123
Psalm 120 is a song asking God for deliverance. Psalm 121 is a song of praise to God for his preservation. Psalm 122 is a song praying for Jerusalem’s (and by extension God’s people’s) peace. Psalm 123 is a song of prayer for grace from God.
